Prayer Needs: August 05, 2007 > Week of 8/6/07

From the Desk of Jill Keenon, Operations Director:

Hey everyone, today I am thanking the Lord for things I have messed up on because it shows my need for Him.

Today is the first time in awhile that I am feeling sad. I think it is because I am letting satan harass me. I rebuke the idiot, and I move on. God is good whether we can pay our bills, feel happy or feel confident. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We are holy and clean in God's eyes, and we are his children.

We love our children in the same way that God loves us. He will always provide but we may have to wait for the right time. Our grandson just came upstairs and said he was hungry. It is time for lunch, but I need to finish some things before I go down to feed him, but I will feed him. Is he sitting downstairs thinking he will not get fed? No, he knows I always feed him even if he has to wait. Am I going to explain business procedures, about paying bills and simply things that need to get done that can't wait? No, he will have to just accept my answer to wait and trust me to supply his needs. This is where Paul and I and Open Door are right now. God said wait but he will provide. Satan cannot steal our joy or our money. Nice try sucka! But you lose; we are children of the King!

QUICK BOYS HOME:
  1. They are on vacation. Pray they will feel rest and refreshment.
COLOMA PLACE HOME:
  1. Pray for the Dyers to find a new place to live.
  2. Pray for Sue as she finds her new home, too.
KEENON HOME:
  1. Margie is talking again about moving out. Pray for her to understand all the costs, emotional and physical. The girl she wants to share an apartment with is not dependable and Margie is gullible and naive.
  2. Matt needs a job and is working on getting into the Army. Pray something happens in both areas. We need to talk to him about some things. Pray for guidance for us.
  3. Melissa is doing "okay" since her grandma died. Her friends took her to the funeral. That was hard because she had to go to Ohio again. She needs Jesus. Pray for her to let go and believe. I have never met anyone so miserable.
  4. Joel needs some practical things to work on his computer that just don't seem to want to work properly. They are important things he has to do. Pray for a solution.
  5. We are working with several families and one is moving forward consistently the others not so much. Pray for them to have wisdom for their families.
  6. Pray we can stay faithful to the Lord while this money crisis is going on.
  7. Pray for us to have wisdom in all areas.
He is faithful.
