Prayer Needs: March 18, 2007 > Fwd: Week of 3/19/07
From the Desk of Jill Keenon, Operations Director:
I have some things I wanted to share but they will have to wait until next week. (I got sick today so I need to just get you to pray. There is a lot going on.) - Allison came over on Saturday and was frustrated with Pat but did not want to talk about it yet. I will find out on Wednesday. Pray for all three of them.
- Melissa has a pin hole of light at the end of the tunnel. Some hope is rising in us. She is still miserable but we have had some good talks to lessen the tension between her and us. She still needs a miracle. Keep praying this is really the first time I have had any hope at all.
- Margie seems a little strange lately. Nothing huge but she so needs to know how to interact with others. Some of the conversations she has are just plain bizarre but not delusional or anything like that but just weird. Pray she can learn some of these skills.
- Joel is plugging along well with school. Please just pray for him.
- Sue at the Coloma St. Home feels peace now that she has been out of her situation at home. She is trying to make a decision to get a different job but loves the one she has but it is far away and she does not have the gas money. Pray for her to get a better job around here.
- Pray for some decisions Paul and I are working on about all aspects of Open Door. We need guidance and wisdom.
- I (Jill) am very burdened by a lot of things, relationships, to do list, school, it runs the gamut. Please pray for me to have Gods perspective and his to do list. I was crying last night because I just dont see how it can all get done. I feel like a poor steward of my home because it does not get the maintenance it needs because of time and money. I feel like I need to fix things for all my children. I feel bad because Paul is in the same boat. He doesnt cry like I do though. Having said all that, I also feel God teaching me to trust him on a deeper level. So, all is not lost, I just dont think it should be so overwhelming when you know you are in the center of Gods will. Anyone one older and wiser who would like to take me out for a coke and tell me how they managed I am all ears.
- On top of all the trips to doctors, schools, taking care of our grand children in our home and the counseling we do, Paul has been upset with himself for missing some opportunities to promote Open Door for prayer and financial support. He has trouble doing it all.
- Pray for the upcoming Bowl A Thon on April 14. We really need more Bowler/fund-raisers.
Pray we trust, trust, trust and show kindness at all times.
