From the Desk of Jill Keenon, Operations Director:
God is in control! This is what I told myself on Friday when we heard my mother's room at Arden Courts would not be ready until next week. The gentleman whose room she will be taking has a problem where he is going. I really need my sister here to help me, and she goes home on Saturday. God knew all that so I am resolved to stay the course, and know that He is in charge of Mom, Joy and I.
This is true in everything. I was grateful that was my first response. I wish that was the case more often.
COLOMA PLACE HOME
- Our daughter Carmen and Sue (the woman coming soon), are going to start to get together so that they can have a relationship started before they have to live together. Pray for this to be a good thing, and they will like each other and that Sue can feel like she can minister to Carmen. This would help Sue feel like she was giving back in the midst of her bad situation.
QUICK HOME
- What do you want Lord? We are ready and willing.
KEENON HOME
- I, Jill, had a very good conversation with Melissa about the doctor we want her to see. She was more open to it. Pray she will come around and go with me. We have had a few other good conversations about forgiveness and things of that nature. Pray for her heart and eyes to be opened.
- Margie is lonely. I don't know what to do for her. She is awkward in social settings so people shy away from her. Pray for a God solution.
- Joel is here and done with school. Pray for him to feel at home here. Pray we can see what he needs from us. Please remember his family in their transition from their old location in Mexico to the new one with new responsibilities, you could see the tension of the separation from the two siblings on all their faces.
- Pray that this problem with moving my mom is worked out so Joy can help me. Pray for Joy's salvation.
Thanks for your faithfulness, prayer warriors!
