From the Desk of Jill Keenon, Operations Director:
What is troubling you today? We all have things on our minds, people we long to help and things we wish were different. What are we suppose to do with all these thoughts and problems? The outcome is precipitated by what you think God thinks of you.
We were in an airplane this week and I was awed by how nothing but clouds and squares of different shades of green were what we could see. All the business of life was unnoticeable. The earth and its inhabitants looked so insignificant and I thought about how arrogant we are to think we are so important. But God thought it was worth coming to the green squares to save us, therefore, our problems do matter and he never sleeps and He is thinking about each of us.
So, no matter what your trouble is God has already demonstrated his care for us. With this in mind we can thank Him ahead of time for the answers to any problem and praise Him because he does care about the details of our lives. Why He does care I don't know if we will ever comprehend but I will be eternally grateful that he does.
QUICK HOME:1.
Pat did go home. Pray for him to keep growing and take what he learned the last two plus years and use it at his home with his mom. Pray for him to trust Jesus with his new situation.
2.
Pray for John. He is having an honesty problem and is probably going home this summer too. It appears he is calling out for help but does not know how to say it. Pray for wisdom for all involved and for his heart and soul.
3.
Bob is doing well but he too may be going home. Not sure if this is good or not. Pray for him and for him to know the Lord no matter where he is.
4.
There is a new court date for the baby in August. Pray for God's hand on the judge and other workers.
KEENON HOME:5.
Melissa's mom just left after nine days. She is a nice lady but she exhausts Melissa. It is too complicated to explain but the whole family needs prayer, spiritual warfare prayers. It is complicated on so many levels that only God can sort it out.
6. Margie's experience with the relationship we mentioned was a good learning experience but it only proved she still needs protection. He turned out to be a not-so-nice person and she knew it but did not listen to her gut or the Holy Spirit. She has some other relationship issues with her family we need to resolve so please pray for wisdom and the right words.
7. Joel has just started his Biola College on line classes and has a lot to do before going there at the end of July. Pray for his mind to be sharp and organized. Pray for him to feel comfortable with his medical regime before he goes too.
8.
Pray for who is to come when Joel leaves.9.
Pray for Jill's mind to be sharp as she studies for the nursing licensing exam. Pray for the atmosphere in our home to be one of joy, peace and God's presence.
Live each day to the fullest and be kind.
